The piece is characterised by the rectangular shape of the blade, with large dimensions similar to modern hoes. It has a thickened edge with two wings for better fastening on the wooden handle, and it has a median rib (nervure) on the lowers side of the blade (the welding of the rib on the blade is still visible).
