The piece has its blade widened in the median area then narrowing towards the ends; the tip is sharp and the edge is rectangular. The orifice for the wooden handle is oval. In comparison with hoes which are very frequent findings in the Dacian fortress area in the Orăştiei Mountains area, small hoes are much rarer.
