Shears

Title
Shears
Description
The item was made out of a single iron bar and it has two wings identical in shape and sizes (two shanks, the handles, and the two blades with a triangular profile). The two wings were united by means of a thin plate which was bent in such a way as to offer a certain elasticity and to allow for an easy gliding of the two blades.
The shears could be used for haircutting and for shearing sheep, as well as for cutting textiles.
