Description
The fragment was probably part of a lid used for covering certain food storage or consumption vessels. Zoomorphic and vegetal decoration was painted with red and black paint applied on a yellow engobe. Traces of incised contours of the ornamental patterns can be noticed in some spots.
The vessel falls into the category of ceramics with figurative painting, which is specific only to the region of Dacian Kingdom capital.
