Description
The tool has a massive body, gradually thinned and widened towards the blade which ends in a curved cutting edge. The piece has a rectangular poll, and the lateral sides of the eye were widened in the shape of lugs. The axe belongs to the carpentry tool category. Various types were identified depending on their specialised uses – from cutting down and splitting trees to usual household tasks.
