Description
The vessel has a bell-like body, a wide mouth, an everted rim and a narrow annular bottom. In the area of its maximum diameter, the vessel used to have two horizontally placed handles as well as a channelling. This type of vessels was probably used for occasionally storing products or serving food. Inspired from the Greek pottery, where it was used originally for mixing wine with water and spices, it was adapted by the Dacians to their own tastes and customs.
