Description
The rushlight has a round body and a long beak. On its upper side it has a framing with three embossed protuberances as well as two holes, one on the beak and the other in the middle of the round body. On its bottom, the stamp “FORTIS” was applied with Latin letters, barely readable at present.

Material: clay, smooth brick-red-yellow paste
Execution technique: imprinted, oxidation firing
