Title
Chisel
Description
This chisel has a large body of an approximately trapezoidal shape. Its thickness decreases gradually from the upper side towards the slightly arched bevel. The upper side is heavily deformed as a consequence of hammer strikes.
These chisels were used in blacksmith workshops for cutting ingots and pieces of sheet-metal.
