Description
The item is large and is shaped like a bar, rectangular in profile, which ends in a tang for attaching the wooden handle at one end. Files are common finds among the Sarmizegetusa Regia and neighbouring fortresses finds. Samples of various shapes and sizes are known. They were used in smith craft workshops as well as in jeweller workshops or woodwork-carpentry activities.
