Description It is a massive piece with two arms. The first has an almost rhomboidal profile with four well pronounced ribs and it ends in a slightly curved widened blade. The second arm looks like an axe blade. The handle hole, placed in the median area is oval and exhibits two rectangular wings on each side. This type of items known in expert literature by the name of dolabra, are often found in the Roman military environment and were used as tools especially for various types of land works (land clearing, parcelling land, demolition etc.) Find spot: Costeşti - Cetăţuie Dimensions: Length – 46 cm; Width – 15 cm.
