Description
The tool has a massive body, thinned and widen gradually towards the blade, ended with a curved edge. The item has a thick margin, with a rectangular nape. The sides of the tale perforation were widen in the shape of fins, to ensure better stability.
The axe belongs to the carpentry-woodwork tools category. Several types were identified, due to the specialization depending the activity for which they were used – from cutting down and chopping trees to daily household activities.
