Description
The upper side of the item is strongly bent and adorned as a sleeve. The lower side consists of two women heads with a complicated hairdo. The handle most likely belonged to a krater vase of Roman origins which had two such items. The handle was bolted to the vessel with two bolts, the attachment holes are visible on the lower side of the handle.
