Description
The item is shaped like a quadrilateral band. It is wide but relatively thin. It ends in a peduncle (thorn) at one end, an in a narrow band with a partially preserved ring at the other. The wide ends were adorned with edgings. The item is most likely a casserole (pan) handle or a bronze ladle (simpulum) handle which came to Dacia from the Roman world.
