Description
The hammer has two square striking faces and an oval socket. The massive body narrows towards both terminals (the tool is incomplete since ancient times). The hammer is one of the main percussive tools belonging to a blacksmith’s workshop and they are frequent (in different variants) among the findings in the area of Dacian fortresses of the Orăştiei Mountains.
